Holiday Cards with Non Christmas Stamps.
Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing two cards that didn't start out as a holiday cards; but turned into them as I began putting them togeher. I am using my new mini delight set from Altenew. As I was putting together the background of this first card, I looked at it and thought, "Those look like Christmas trees" So, I grabbed some green copic markers and colored them in! I used the fun sentiment panel with the cooridinating die cut with a simple holiday sentiment strip across the top. I put the background on some gold foil background and added gold stickles for the sparkle at the top of each little "tree"
For the second card, I used another one of the little images and made a fun scallop border on the top and bottom with Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink. I used the same diecut and stamp combo in the center with another sentiment from my holiday strips set. For this card I chose silver as my accent color.
I love using ordinary stamp sets for holiday cards, it really opens up lots of possibilities!
