Easy Patterned Paper Cards

Hello everyone, thank you for visiting me today I hope you are all well! I have a few cards to share with you today using the new kit from Simon Says Stamp: Poppy Perfection. I shared several more cards this weekend on my Instagram feed, be sure to check those out as well.

This new kit from Simon is so much fun because it's so easy to make quick cards using all the patterned papers and other fun elements. When you have a kit like this that has all these great features, let the kit work for you. Patterned paper is a great way to get fast results on multiple cards. Simply adding some additional die cut frames or sentiments can make the process that much easier.

i decided not to do a video for this post because there really wasn't a need for one. However, I have included lots of pictures and a little more detail about each card here in the post today.

Circle die cut from Simon Says Stamp

Flower Window Card: This card is slightly smaller than a standard card size (admittedly largely due to errors on my part; but they ended up working well for the design of the card. I cut the Circle out of the front of the card panel and layered the outer circles with acetate in between creating the window effect.

I stamped the image in black ink and used some of the pencils included in the kit to color it all in. To complete the card, I added the small sentiment in the bottom right on the inside of the card.

It's Your Day: For this card, I used Barn Door and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide Inks to ink blend the background and then randomly scattered drops of water to get the splotchy water color effect to lighten up certain areas of the background. I stamped the image in black in a few times and then added some silver stickles and some diamond stickles to a couple of the flowers.
