Creative Techniques for Cover Plate Die Cuts

Hello everyone! Thank you for visiting today. I am here quickly to share a few cards showcasing creative ways you can use your cover plate die cuts on your cards. Cover plate dies can be a little more on the expensive side, so it's always good to have a variety of ways to use them! Watch the video below for step by step instructions.

Here are a few close ups of each card as well.

Card 1: Offset layering die cuts to create an interesting background.

Card 2: Combining 2 different cover plate dies with ink blending

Card 3: Combining cover plate die cuts and using one of the die cuts as a stencil to create a fun background

Card 4: Using the extra pieces from multiple cuts of a cover plate to create a stacked Die Cut Inlay puzzle type background.

I am participating in the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps and More: Dies or Stencils (Card 1)

Elliebelle's Corner: Anything Goes (Card 2)

Simon Says Stamp: stencil it ( Card 3...entering this because I used the die cut as a stencil)

Crafty Addicts: Anything Goes (Card 4)

Have a great day and I will see you all again soon!
