AECP Level 1 Celebration Stencil Techniques
Hi Everyone! I apologize for the lack of sharing and posting. Lots of things going on in life and full disclosure I've been in a bit of crafting slump lately...trying to make my way out of it and rediscover the joy of cardmaking and what my purpose for it is and whether or not it really even needs a purpose or if just the fact I enjoy being creative is purpose enough?
I did really enjoy making this card for my AECP Level 1 Celebration Stencil Techniques class. I loved the unique approaches to using stencils that were taught in the course; but decided to focus mine on the technique I enjoyed the most and had never tried: stamping with stencils. My Altenew Stencil collection isn't very big; but I found that the "woven" stencil worked best for this technique. I stamped the stencil with Abandoned Coral, Bundle Sage and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink.
I diecut a circle from the edge of the background and then also used my new July Mini Delight set "Watercolor Cluster" for the die cut flowers around the bottom edge.
